MEET REBECCA – A FUTURE HABITAT HOMEOWNER

Hear from Rebecca, a single Mom of two teenage girls. Rebecca was thrilled when she found out her family was chosen to live in the affordable single family Habitat home in the town where she currently lives. Greta, a talented entrepreneur, has supported Habitat for Humanity MetroWest/Greater Worcester by consistently donating roofing materials and services to the affordable homes we build for local families. Her generosity has paved the way for us to be more successful in our mission of building homes, communities, and hope for local families and veterans. She and her company are strong supporters and advocates on behalf of local families who need a safe and affordable home. Greta was recently chosen as one of the New England Entrepreneurs of the Year by Ernst and Young.

ANNOUNCING OUR HOUSING ADVOCATE AWARD

We are pleased to present the Housing Advocate award to the Massachusetts Secretary of Housing and Livable Communities, Edward Augustus, Jr., formerly Worcester’s City Manager. Secretary Augustus helped to create thousands of new housing units at all income levels during his tenure in Worcester, and leads the new Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities.
