WHAT WE CAN ACCEPT:

• Washers & Dryers – 10 years old or newer
• Refrigerators
• Stoves/Ovens (gas and electric)
• Range hoods/Range tops
• Microwave ovens
• Air conditioners without yellow tint
• Small appliances
• Dishwashers*

All appliances must be in clean, fully functional condition, and manufactured within the past 8 years.
*Dishwashers must have all original paperwork including lead-free certification.

WHAT WE CANNOT ACCEPT:

• Items 10 years or older at time of donation
• Dishwashers without their original paperwork including lead-free certification
• Items with any sign of mold, or rust
• Any item that is still in use, not disconnected, or readily available at the time of donation

WHAT WE CAN ACCEPT:

• Rigid foam insulation in new condition and in usable quantities
• Fiberglass insulation in full, sealed bats only (must be bagged)
• Bricks in good, intact condition*
• Concrete blocks in good, intact condition*
• Shingles, in full boxes and new condition (in original packaging)
• Rolls of roofing material, in good condition, half rolls, or greater
• Metal roofing materials and gutters, full pieces in good condition with no rust, or damage
• Architectural salvage items in good, salable condition

*Masonry pick-ups in excess of 50 pieces must be palletized before the time of donation.

WHAT WE CANNOT ACCEPT:

• Any insulation with evidence of staining, or other damage
• Shingles not in package, or otherwise damaged
• Any item showing signs of rot, damage, mold, or mildew
• Any broken or partial bricks and concrete blocks

WHAT WE CAN ACCEPT:

• Individual cabinets in good condition, with all doors and drawers complete and intact
• Cabinet sets in good condition, with doors, drawers, and sink base intact
• Marble and granite countertops*
• Other countertops of at least 6′ in length and in good condition, excluding formica

*Provided our staff and volunteers can safely lift and move them.

WHAT WE CANNOT ACCEPT:

• Formica countertops, or “L” shaped, or with sink cutout
• Any cabinet that shows signs of mold, or is otherwise unsalable

WHAT WE CAN ACCEPT:

• Interior solid doors in new condition with Jam
• French and glass doors with glass clean and intact, with all hardware and Jam
• Exterior doors in new condition, with Jam and Sill

WHAT WE CANNOT ACCEPT:

• Any item with evidence of rot, cracking, or other damage
• Any item with glass that is damaged, fogged, or broken
• Garage doors
• Hollow core doors
• Altered, or cut doors
• Sliding Glass Doors
• Door Slabs
  

WHAT WE CAN ACCEPT:

• Plug outlets, switches, and other in-wall components in new condition (in original packaging)
• Residential fittings in good, working condition
• Electrical wire in good or new condition, and in usable quantities

WHAT WE CANNOT ACCEPT:

• Used electrical breakers in any condition
• Smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, and other safety equipment
• Any item that shows signs of rust, excessive wear, previous exposure to a short, or any other damage
• Cable, or phone wire
• Used outlets, or switches
  

WHAT WE CAN ACCEPT:

• Full size exercise equipment in good condition and not in need of excessive assembly
• Hand exercise equipment

Any item with electronic components must be in full functioning order and within seven years of age.

WHAT WE CANNOT ACCEPT:

• Small exercise equipment
• Any equipment that would require more than five minutes of assembly time

WHAT WE CAN ACCEPT:

• Carpets in new condition, at least 10×10′ in size
• Area rugs in like new condition, free of rips, stains, tears, and smells
• Carpet padding, in brand new condition only
• Vinyl and linoleum flooring, new, and in quantities of 10 square feet or more
• Hardwood and parquet flooring, new, and in quantities of 10 square feet or more
• Laminate flooring, new, and in quantities of 10 square feet or more
• Ceramic and stone tile, new and in-box only

WHAT WE CANNOT ACCEPT:

• Any broken, chipped or otherwise damaged tile
• Any flooring that shows signs of mold, rot, termite damage, or is otherwise unsalable
• Carpets and rugs that have any damage, smells, or signs of excessive wear or longer than 16’
• Any used flooring
• Single or Loose flooring quantities
  

WHAT WE CAN ACCEPT:

• New and gently used solid wood furniture in good, salable condition

WHAT WE CANNOT ACCEPT:

• Damaged or structurally unsound furniture
• Particle board furniture
• Upholstered or leather furniture
• Beds that are not part of a complete bedroom set
• Sofa beds
• Futons
• Conference tables
• Baby furniture, cribs, and other baby equipment
• Mattresses and box springs
• Motorized, mechanical, and hospital beds
• Hutches over 4 feet wide
• China cabinets over 4 feet wide
• Television armoires and entertainment centers
• Executive, metal, glass, hutch, or L-shaped desks
• Medical Equipment and Devices

WHAT WE CAN ACCEPT:

• Outdoor furniture in good condition, free of damage and staining
• Garden hand tools in good condition, free of rust
• Gas outdoor tools, in full working condition with emptied gas tank
• Electric outdoor tools, in full working condition with cords and batteries intact (fully charged)

WHAT WE CANNOT ACCEPT:

• Hot tubs
• Trampolines
• Swing sets and playground equipment
• Pools

WHAT WE CAN ACCEPT:

• Nails, screws, and other fasteners in original box or otherwise sorted in quantity
• Floor, ceiling, and wall vents, in good condition and free of rust
• Other hardware in good condition

WHAT WE CANNOT ACCEPT:

• Used Door Knobs
• Any item with signs of rust or other damage
• Individual items such and nails or screws, not in containers or sorted

WHAT WE CAN ACCEPT:

• Dishware, glassware, and silverware in clean, reusable condition
• Other home décor in good condition
• Antique and collectible items
• Jewelry
• Musical instruments (excluding pianos and organs)
• Holiday décor in good condition and full working order

WHAT WE CANNOT ACCEPT:

• Blankets, pillows, towels, curtains, and other soft goods
• Any type of blinds or shades
• Stuffed animals, and other toys
• Unframed glass and mirror
• Pianos and organs
• Home electronics, including TVs, computers and related equipment

WHAT WE CAN ACCEPT:

• Residential fixtures, in good working order, with no missing, or damaged components
• Commercial fixtures with the exception of drop ceiling fixtures, in full working order
• LED lightbulbs new, and in original package

WHAT WE CANNOT ACCEPT:

• Any item with signs of damage, or faults
• Fluorescent tubes, or bulbs, incandescent, and CFL lightbulbs, or halogen

WHAT WE CAN ACCEPT:

• Plywood, in good condition and at least half-sheet in size
• Milled lumber in 4′ lengths or greater
• Trim and molding in 4′ lengths of greater
• Siding, full lengths and in-box

WHAT WE CANNOT ACCEPT:

• Any item with evidence of mold, rot, or termite damage
• Lumber with nails, screws or, excessive warping

• Hardcover books
• Softcover books
• Records
• CDs
• DVDs
• Blu-rays

• Encyclopedias
• Textbooks
• VHS tapes
• Cassette tapes

• NO Paint

WHAT WE CANNOT ACCEPT:

• Paint
• Any paint additives, or chemicals of any kind
• Opened, spoiled, or rusted cans of paint

WHAT WE CAN ACCEPT:

• Pedestal sinks in good condition, free of cracks and stains
• New Toilets
• Bathtubs in good condition with no signs of leaks, rust, cracking or stains
• Shower enclosures in good condition with all components intact and free of damage
• PVC, iron, and copper pipe in good condition and in lengths of 3′ or more
• Faucets, new in box and manufactured after 2010

WHAT WE CANNOT ACCEPT:

• Bowl sinks
• Incomplete or damaged items
• Faucets that have been previously opened, installed, or manufactured before 2010
• Pipe showing signs of corrosion or damage
• Glass shower doors
• Plumbing supplies used to carry drinking water
• Used hot water heaters
• Used Toilets

WHAT WE CAN ACCEPT:

• Hand tools, in good condition, free of rust, or damage
• Corded power tools, in good working condition with power cord intact and functional
• Portable power tools, in good working condition, with working battery and charger

WHAT WE CANNOT ACCEPT:

• Any item showing signs of rust or other damage
• Corded power tools with frayed or damaged cables

WHAT WE CAN ACCEPT:

• Windows in new, never installed condition
• Antique windows in good condition, and free of chips, cracks, and broken glass

WHAT WE CANNOT ACCEPT:

• Single pane windows
• Used windows
• Aluminum frame and storm windows
• Incomplete units
• Any item with signs of rot, broken glass, or other damage
• Window sashes
