  3. Beam Of Hope Crisis...

Our #BeamOfHope Crisis Fund will create hope for local families so badly impacted by the Coronavirus crisis. Your donation will allow us to continue our mission to build homes, communities—and hope—for all those who desperately need a safe and affordable home!

Like many other small non-profits whose mission centers around helping those less fortunate in our communities, we have been harshly impacted by the Coronavirus crisis. Our construction sites and our two ReStores are closed, and our fundraising events have been cancelled. These reliable sources of revenue that allow us to build affordable homes for local families are now gone. We desperately need your support to help local families with affordable housing through the Coronavirus and beyond. YOUR gift will provide hope to local families and veterans who need safe and affordable housing.

Although our wonderful staff is working as diligently as they can to cover the gap, we face severe challenges in continuing our mission. We have been approved and have received funding through the Payroll Protection Program for 8 weeks, but this is not nearly enough to keep us in business for the long run.

Please read this quote from one of our current homeowners, Sophie: "Habitat For Humanity changed our quality of life. Every single donation, every single person who made our dream a reality is an angel. My husband served Honorably in the Marine Corps, and what we have gotten in return for his service has been life changing. We are forever grateful. Strangers became saviors. There are no words to express our Thanks. Hopefully the smile on our boys' faces tells you, even if they don't have the words. All of our Best to all of you Angels. Be well, friend."

What will happen to the work we do to help local families who need a safe and affordable home?

Our Holliston and Worcester affordable home builds have both been delayed, meaning local families who so desperately need a safe place to live will be put on hold until we can safely build again. Even when it is safe, how will we afford the lumber, flooring, roofing, and so many other materials that we need to build a home? With our sources of revenue all terribly impacted, how will we continue to pay our staff and overhead? How will our ReStores be able to get up and running with the lack of donations during the health crisis?

We are truly grateful for our many supporters, our funders, the organizations we work with, and our volunteers, BUT we still desperately need your help.

PLEASE consider making a generous gift today – towards our #BeamOfHope Crisis Fund created specially to help during this terrible health crisis. We are a small non-profit, and each staff member and volunteer cares deeply about the families like Sophie's who live in our communities and who need affordable and safe housing. PLEASE help us so that we may continue to serve those who need us the most!

Please watch the videos below to learn why it’s so critical NOW that you support our mission to build homes, communities and hope.
