Information Session

Volunteer Information Session (VIS) introduces new volunteers to Habitat for Humanity-MetroWest/Greater Worcester’s mission and work in the community.  Run by the Community Development / Volunteer Coordinator, these sessions help new volunteers discover how their unique skills can be utilized to carry out the work of HFH-MW/GW beyond the hammers and nails.  Information about volunteer opportunities is reviewed, and the session concludes with a question-and-answer period.  If you would like to volunteer at Habitat for Humanity-MetroWest/Greater Worcester but aren’t sure how, this session is for you!

When: First Monday of each month ~ begins promptly at 7:00 p.m.
Where: First Baptist Church
111 Park Avenue (at the intersection of Salisbury Street)
Worcester, MA 01609

Parking is accessible from Salisbury Street
Please follow the walkway, alongside the children’s school playground, to enter the church lobby.

Sessions will be held if there are a critical number of interested participants.  If interested in attending a Volunteer Information Session please send an email to volunteer@habitatmwgw.org or call Nora Quattrocelli, our Community Development / Volunteer Coordinator, at 508-799-9259.  Please be advised that a session may be cancelled due to inclement weather.  Please call in advance to confirm that a session will be held.
