ReStore Driver/Donations Ambassador – Worcester: The Habitat for Humanity MetroWest/Greater Worcester ReStore in Worcester is looking for a qualified and experienced full time driver, to pick up donations from homes in the MetroWest/Greater Worcester area, to unload trucks, help load customer vehicles, process donations, and provide general customer service. Warehouse support will be required as assigned.

ReStore Driver/Donations Ambassador – Ashland: This position is responsible for the driving and pick-up of merchandise from residences and businesses, effectively interact with donors and resolve any problems/concerns that may arise, safely packing the merchandise in the ReStore truck, and returning to ReStore and unpacking merchandise.

Assistant ReStore Manager – Ashland: This position assists the Store Manager in administrative and operational functions of the Habitat for Humanity MetroWest/Greater Worcester Ashland ReStore. The Assistant ReStore Manager assists the Store Manager in achieving operational, financial, administrative and customer service goals.

ReStore Associate – Ashland: The goal of this position is to support the Ashland ReStore. ReStore is an exciting and faced past retail environment that supports Habitat’s mission of building affordable homes!

MA Worcester Construction Crew Leader: The member serving in this role will be part of the AmeriCorps team that will give the necessary boost to significantly increase the number of families our affiliate is able to serve through our Critical Home Repair (CHR), Veteran Critical Home Repair (VCHR), A Brush With Kindness (ABWK), Rehab, and new construction projects.  With the assistance of the AmeriCorps members serving in this role, we anticipate completing  2 home build projects, 6 VCHRs, 2 CHRs,  and  2 ABWK projects.  A secondary goal of this position is to have members cultivate and train volunteers to act as site leaders. We view the construction crew leaders as integral to our goals of building more homes and better neighborhoods and communities throughout our service area.

MA Worcester ReStore Development: The VISTA member will help solidify the ReStore’s ongoing success by focusing on the following:

  1. Develop, implement and document a volunteer recruitment, training, and retention program for the ReStore. Improved methods of volunteer utilization and recognition will enhance our engagement with the community and its investment in the mission of our affiliate.
  2. Develop, implement, and document sustainable marketing and outreach strategies that ultimately contribute towards an increase in unrestricted revenue from increased numbers of store purchases and donations. An increase in unrestricted revenue will in turn enable the affiliate to serve more families and communities.
  3. Research and implement best practices for standard ReStore operating policies and procedures.
